Yes! A person may make up to 5 submissions to one Issue. A person can make both literary and visual submissions.

Written pieces must be submitted in a Word or Doc format. Visual pieces must be submitted in a PDF, JPG, OR JPEG format.

Submissions may include all topics deemed worthy of being PG-13. In written pieces, mild mention of violence and mild, non-explicit sexual content may be included. But, please be aware we are not trying to limit your creativity! Express yourselves freely and creatively and use your own judgement to see if your piece is deemed appropriate for Yugenzine.

Everyone who submitted to the Issue will receive an email from Yugenzine, telling them if their piece was accepted or not. These emails could come out 2 weeks - 1 month after submissions close. This largely depends on the amount of submissions we receive.

Though we do accept already-published works for our issues, you MUST SPECIFY that those works were already published.

Prose submissions must be comprised of no more than 2000 words and must not exceed 4 pages. Poetry submissions must not exceed 40 lines. **** If your submission exceeds the word/line limit, you may email us at yugenzine@gmail.com (yugenzine@gmail.com)to discuss a possible exception!
